Electronic Press Kit
Conceived in a Wichita, Kansas apartment living room, whateveramoon wrote, produced, and recorded every note of their debut album, Flowers From Rain.
Inspired by their own breakup and reconciliation, the duo created a deeply personal record that tells two sides of the same story. It chronicles insecurity, fear, optimism, and forgiveness. Every song reflects the tumultuous feelings of experiencing a deep heartbreak, soundtracked by a sound that melds synth-pop leads, dreamy guitars, catchy hooks, and bopping bass lines.
Made up of just two people, CJ Gilbert and Catie Wolff strive to bring that intimacy to the stage by creating a live show that feels much larger than its origins, while retaining that intimate, honest feel. Their lively performances invite audiences into the experience, demonstrating that the most connective messages and exciting sounds can come from the smallest spaces.
